The Way of the Powerful Woman is a powerful five-step process that changes your life. Our ability to master life is similar to the process of a student of martial arts. We must first learn and master the basics before we are able to move on to the advanced stages.
When a student begins to study martial arts they go through very specific stages. The student begins with the basics-learning how to stand, how to move their feet and make basic moves. As they practice and perfect their skills they go from looking awkward and unsure to graceful, powerful and confident. A similar process occurs as we grow into the full potential of our lives.
As women we often get mixed messages about how to live a powerful life. It an be confusing and discouraging but it really doesn't need to be. We need to begin to get clear about what we want out of life and go about getting it. Easier said then done? One thing we know we can't ignore is that inner call in our soul, that call to live life to the fullest, to express our giftedness. That is the Way of the Powerful Woman.
Quote for the Week
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
~Steve Jobs
"The key to growth is understanding we are given the ability to make mid-course corrections in our life and having the courage to make necessary changes when what we are doing is not working for us."
~Michael Newton
